Computer Repair Service Areas

Where Our Customers Come From

Our shop is on North French Road in Amherst, NY, but customers regularly drive in from across Western New York. Below are the areas we serve most often. Each links to a dedicated page with information specific to that area: how to find us from there, common drop-off scenarios from that location, and the kinds of computer problems we see from that part of the region.

The shop\'s physical address is 656 North French Road, Suite 2, Amherst, NY 14228. We\'re drop-off only and by appointment only. Call 716-771-2536 to schedule.

Hamburg, NY

Hamburg customers find us via the I-290 and the Skyway or Route 5. About 25-30 minutes depending on traffic and which part of Hamburg.

Orchard Park, NY

Orchard Park customers reach us via the I-290. Typical drive is 25-30 minutes from most of the town.

West Seneca, NY

West Seneca customers find us via the I-290 or surface streets through South Buffalo. About 20-25 minutes.

Outside These Areas?

If your area isn\'t listed and you\'d like to bring a computer in, you\'re still welcome. Customers occasionally drive in from Niagara County, Lockport, Grand Island, the Southtowns beyond what\'s listed, and even from across the border. We don\'t turn anyone away based on location; the only requirement is being able to drop off and pick up at our Amherst shop.

For customers further out, we sometimes recommend mailing in a drive (for data recovery cases specifically) rather than driving back and forth. Call 716-771-2536 to discuss whether that\'s appropriate for your specific situation.

Why a Local Shop Matters

You could ship your computer to a national repair service. You could use a remote support service that works from anywhere. You could send your laptop to the manufacturer for warranty work. All of these options exist and they have their place. The case for using a local shop instead is specific:

The work happens nearby. Your computer doesn\'t spend three days in transit each way. The diagnostic happens within a day of drop-off. The work happens shortly after. You can pick up the machine within a week, not three.

Real accountability. If something doesn\'t go right, you can come back to the shop and talk to the same person who took your machine in. Try doing that with a regional service center or a remote support call center.

Money stays local. Western New York has plenty of small businesses competing with national chains. We try to be the kind of local business that\'s worth supporting: fair pricing, real work, accountability, and a stake in our community.

Mac and PC expertise in one place. We work on both platforms every day, which not every local shop does. You don\'t need to find separate shops for your Mac and your kid\'s PC.
